Serge has worked around the world on megaprojects as a highly versatile project controls and systems expert. Since 1992, Serge has also been actively working in the field of computer technologies. He has worked with large engineering and construction companies, as well as with owners and operators, and has the opportunity to build systems that were tailored to specific needs of very challenging projects. Amongst Serge’s many skills is his ability to translate into simple programs complex issues and deliver clear information and data.
Through his various positions, Serge has actively participated in the development of computer system databases for estimating, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, logistics, recruitment of site teams, including expatriate management, contract administration, contract progress and handover. Through his many years of experience, Serge has also has been exposed to different aspects of a project, including Instrumentation, Automation, IT, Project Controls and Document Control. Serge has managed the implementation and start-up of numerous intricate systems in Canada and overseas. His skills and expertise have taken him to work in the United-States, Venezuela, France, England, Australia, New Caledonia, UAE, as well as Malaysia, Mauritania, Senegal and Cameroon.
Over the length of his career, Serge has also trained teams to successfully hand-over responsibility for the management of the systems. He is fluent in English and French.
